MODERN SOCIETY - Juventud Dormida Y Conformista

A traves de la historia la juventud ha sido siempre el motor que ha engendrado la rebeldia y la disconformidad contra el sistema impuesto por los gobiernos de turno.  Un ejemplo muy famoso fue el mayo del 68 donde la juventud francesa tomó la antorcha de la rebelion poniendo en jaque al gobierno del General Charles De Gaulle.  En Usa en Mayo del 1970 en la universidad de Kent las manifestaciones contra la guerra del Vietnan dejaron un saldo de 5 muertos y inumerables disturbios.  Pero lo mas terrible ocurrío en Mexico el 2 de Otubre del 1968 cuando el la Plaza de Tlatololco, 500 estudiante fueron impunemente asesinados por el ejercito cuando pacificamente pedian mas libertades para el pueblo.  Esto ocurrío 10 dias antes de la inaguracion de los juegos olímpicos.  En Praga tambien salío la juventud a la calle contra la ocupacíon sovietica.  Hasta en la España franquista tuvimos las agallas de protesta contra la Dictadura.

¿Y que tenemos ahora en plena Democracia?  Pues a una juventud totalmente conformista con el sistema, yo diría una juventud que apuntala al sistema y se deja corrompe de una manera obscena.  Y me digo por qué no salís a la calle, pues sois las victimas de este sistema.  No teneis ningun futuro, ¿que teneis entonces que perder?  El botellon quizas, las zapatillas Adidas o los 5 gramos de chocolate.  Pero qué facil ha sido para el sistema corromperos y ustedes no han ofrecido resistencia.  ¿Y para eso se tiene 20 años?  ¿Donde están las grandes cimas para conquistar?  Y las grandes praderas para cabalgar.  Ustedes están muertos, por favor, despierten!

Through the passage of history, the youths have always been the engine that has started the rebellion and the disconformity against the system imposed by the government in power.  A famous example was in May 68 when the youths in France took the torch of rebellion, putting the government of General Charles de Gaulle on the ropes.   In USA, in May 1970, in the University of Kent, the protests against the Vietnam War left 5 dead with numerous disturbances.  But the most terrible was on 2 October 1968 when in the Plaza of Tlatololco, 500 students were assasinated by the army with impunity, when all they were asking for peacefully, was more freedom for the people.  This occurred just 10 days before the Olympic Games.  In Prague, the youths also took to the streets against the Soviet Occupation.  Even in Spain under Franco, we had the gall to protest against the dictatorship.

And what do we have now in the era of Democracy?  A generation of youths totally conformist with the system, I would say youths that prop up the system and let themselves be corrupted in the most obscene manner.  I say to you, "Why don't you take to the streets?  Because you are the victims of this system.  You do not have a future.  What do you have to lose?"  The drinking parties maybe, the Adidas shoes, or the 5 grams of cannabis.  But has it really been that easy for the system to corrupt you and you do not offer any resistance?  What is the purpose of being young, at 20 years old?  Where the great peaks to be conquered?  And the great prairies to ride free.  You are dead, please WAKE UP!
