ANIMAL KINGDOM - The Intelligence of Animals (Cat plays with Dolphin)

El otro dia ví otro video que me llenó de paz y felicidad.  Al mismo tiempo me hizó replantearme el interrogante si los animales de cualquier especies tienen alma.  Y la verdad, despues de ver este bellísimo video puedo afirma sin ninguna duda que sí. 

Pues la naturaleza ha abrazado universalmente a todas sus criaturas sin dejar de proveer plenamente a ningunos de ellos de todo lo necesario para la conservacion de su ser.  Siempre los seres humanos se quejan de la naturaleza.  Tales quejas suelen consentir en decir que somos el único animal abandonado y desnudo sobre la tierra.  Y que estamos por ello atado y agarrotados sin tener cosas con que cubrirnos que no sean despojos de otros.  Y se añade que la naturaleza ha revestido a todas las demas criaturas de conchas, vainas, cortezas, pelos, lana, pinchos, escamas y plumas.  Y según sus necesidades con zarpas, dientes o cuernos para atacar y defenderse.  Y enseñandoles a nadar, correr, volar y hasta cantar o lo que le fuera propio.


Mientras nosotros los humanos no sabemos nadar, hablar, comer ni nada de nada fuera de llorar sin aprendizaje.  Sin más les dejo con estas refleciones del filósofo romano Tito Lucrecio Caro, siglo1 A C, contemporaneo de Julio Cesar y Ciceron -

Cual el navegante arrojado por el temporal a la orilla yace el niño en tierra, desnudo, sin palabra falto de todos los vitales auxilio luego de que la naturaleza le arranca al maternal seno para hacerle ver la luz y llena con sus gemidos el lugar de su nacimiento.  ¿Por qué razon tiene el infeliz a quien esperan tantos males que sufrir?  En cambio los domesticos animales y las fieras crecen sin trabajo, sin la necesidad del lenguaje pueril de la nodriza, sin tener que cambiar ropas segun las estaciones, sin haber menester de protecion de armas para defender sus bienees ni fortaleza para guardarlos, ya que el fecundo seno de la naturaleza les prodigas sus abundantes beneficios.


The other day I saw another video that filled me with calm and happiness.  At the same time, it made me comtemplate the question if animals of all species have a soul.  And the truth, after watching this beautiful video, is that I can say that the answer is yes.
Well, nature has embraced universally all creatures, and has never ceased to provide for all they might need for the conservation of their lives.  Humans always complain about nature.  Such complaints stem from the fact that human beings are the only creatures who roam the earth desolate and naked.  And we have no other ways to cover ourselves other than by the furs of other creatures.  And I have to add that nature has dressed all other animals with shells, tough skin, hair, scales, feathers, spikes and wool.  According to their necessities, they have also been given claws, fangs, horms to attack and to defend themselves.  And they have also been taught to swim, run, fly and even sing, whatever is appropriate. 

We humans do not know how to swim, speak, eat without being taught, we only know how to cry.  Without further elaboration, I leave you with these reflections of the roman philosopher Tito Lucrecio Caro, from 1st century AC, who is from the same era as Julius Ceasar and Ciceron - 
Just as a sailor who has been thrown on the banks by the forces of nature, there lies a child on this earth, naked, without any forms of vital resources; nature which has thrown him into this world from the womb of the mother, making him see the light and filling his birth place with his cries.  What is the reason that this poor unhappy man has to suffer so many misfortunes?  On the other hand, the domestic and wild animals grow up without working, without the need of banality from its servant, without having to change his clothes according to the seasons, without having the weapons of protection to defend his assets and possessions; nature itself has already proportioned them with its many benefits.
