EL RUIDO EL NUEVO OPIO DE LAS MASAS

Parafraseando a Carlos Marx, la religion era el opio del pueblo.  Hoy en pleno siglo XXI, podríamos decir lo mismo sobre los efectos nocivos del ruido en la masas.  Pues todo se cuantifica y magnifica en ruido.

Por ejemplo, tenemos el ruido de la clase politica cuando hacen un ostentoso ruido a favor de los derechos humanos.  Pero se olvidan que con su sistema politico muchas personas sufren y padecen el desempleo, ínfimo salario y un embrutecimiento en su vida cotidiana.

Tambíen tenemos el dichoso ruido del botellon alimentado una vez más por el sistema para adormecer cualquier conato de rebelion juvenil ante sus contratos basuras y explotacíon laboral.  Por supuesto, tenemos al vecino de al lado y el tráfico.  Eso tambíen es ruido pero eso más que nada es un asunto de civísmo y educacíon.  Aunque el verdadero ruido es ese que no nos deja ver más alla de nuestros narices.  Es el ruido que nos impide preguntarnos -¿Que proyecto queremos para nuestros hijos y para nosotros como seres humanos?  Es ese ruido que anula cualquier átomo de la espiritualidad.  Claro, ese es el propósito del sistema, que nos sumerjamos en ese caótico y inhumano ruido.

Pero contra ese ruido impuesto, nosotros tenemos que contrarestarlo con un ruido más estruendoso.  Rompamos las cadenas del silencio que nos imponemos nosotros mismos y hagamos la revolucíon del ruido creativo y liberador.  Gritemos y hagamos un ruido mundial y colectivo contra este sistema caduco y corrupto.  Conseguirémos un mundo mejor para la futura generacíon.


Paraphrasing Karl Marx, religion is the opium of the people.  Today, right at the beginning of the 21st century, we can say the same of the harmful effects of the noise of the masses.  Everything is quantified and magnified in noise.

For example, we have the noise of the ruling political class when they make the most strident noise in favour of human rights.  But they do forget that as a result of their political system, many people suffer from unemployment, low salaries and the brutalisation of their daily lives.

We also have the well-known noise of the drink-fest, once again encouraged by the system to numb the senses of the youths, against any tendencies of insurrection due to their unfair contractual labour conditions and ongoing exploitation.  Of course, we also have to contend with the noise from our neighbours and traffic.  This is more a matter of civic behaviour and education.  However, the real noise in question is that which doesn't allow us to see further than our noses, that which prevents us from questioning the status quo.  What is the path that we want for our children and for ourselves as human beings?  This is the noise that nullifies any atom of spirituality.  It's clear that this is the purpose of the system and we are submerged in the chaotic and inhumane noise.

But against this noise imposed upon us, we have to counter it with a noise that is even stronger.  Let's break the chains of silence and let's impose upon ourselves to start a revolution of noise that is both creative and liberating.  Let's shout and make a collective noise that reaches to the whole world against this corrupted system that has passed its used-by date.  We will then convert this world of ours into a better place for our future generation.
