USA – THE IMPUNITY OF GOLDMAN SACHS

Este mes de Agosto se cumplirán cinco años del comienzo de la devastadora crisis económica que padecemos, el llamado escandalo Subprime.  Este suceso ha metido el miedo y la angustia en millones de personas, que como consecuencia de ello han perdidos sus casas y su trabajo al verse desahuciados al no poder pagar sus hipotecas.  No solo esto, los daños colaterales de esta estafa han golpeados a muchas naciones.  Un ejemplo seria España con más de 6 millones de parados, el rescate de Grecia y Portugal, y así un cumulo de desdichas que se abate sobre las capas sociales más desfavorecidas.  Pues bien, uno de los causantes de este evento economico tiene nombre y apellido, se llama Goldman Sachs y se han enriquecido de forma fraudulenta.  Claro, una vez más, el castigo no caerá sobre ellos.  Al contrario según la prensa, el Departamento de Justicia de USA ha anunciado que no imputara cargos al banco Goldman Sachs, ni por supuesto a sus más altos ejecutivos,

Según el Departamento de Justicia, no hay bases viables para entablar un proceso penal con relación a Goldman Sachs y sus empleados.  En Abril de 2011, un subcomité del Senado presidido por el senador demócrata Carl Levin, elaboró un informe con denuncias que sostenían que Goldman Sachs realizó operaciones con hipotecas basuras durante la crisis, sin alentar a los clientes del alto riego de esos productos.  Fue a partir de ese informe que el senador Levin pidió a las autoridades que se abriera una investigación contra Goldman Sachs.  Pero no solo salió bien librado el banco corrupto de tal problema, sino que la Comisión del Mercado de Valores, SEC, determinó que Goldman Sachs no incurría en ninguna ilegalidad al vender a los inversores bonos respaldados por hipotecas basuras.  Cómo siempre estos chacales tienen cogidos por los cojones a políticos, jefes de Gobiernos, jueces y a cualquiera que se deje corromper.  En 2007 estas hienas sedientas de avaricia, ganaron más de 5,000 millones de dólares en operaciones que desembocaron en el desastre actual.  Éstos cuervos sabían del peligro del producto toxico que vendían al inocente y pasivo ciudadano americano.  Ahora se vuelven a forrar a base de especular con derivativos vinculados a la deuda soberana de los países del Sur de Europa.  Eso sí, Goldman Sachs solo han pagado una multa de 500 millones de dólares por sus latrocinios, en pocas palabras, eso para ellos representa echar  cacahuetes a los monos.  Aquí sí que hace falta una buena guillotina en Time Square.  Eso sí, que seria una buena Reality Show.  Y no los estúpidos y aburridos programas de Ellen, o American Idol, digo yo. 

This month of August will mark the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the devastating economic crisis, detonated by the Subprime scandal.  This event has instilled fear and anguish in the hearts of millions of people, who as a result have lost their homes and their jobs, after being evicted by the banks for not paying their mortgages.  Not only that, the collateral damage of this scandal has extended to many nations.  An example would be Spain with more than 6 million unemployed, not to mention the financial rescue package for Greece and Portugal, and the heaps of misfortunes that have befallen the most underpriveleged social strata.  Well, one of the main perpetrators of this catastrophic economic event has a name, Goldman Sachs and they have enriched themselves in the most fraudulent manner.  Once again the weight of justice has not fallen upon them.  According to the press, the USA Department of Justice has announced that it will withdraw the charges against the bank Goldman Sachs, and of course their executives.

According to the Department of Justice, there is no viable basis upon which to initiate criminal proceedings related to Goldman Sachs and its employees.  In April 2011, a Subcommittee of the Senate chaired by Democratic Senator Carl Levin, produced a report with allegations that argued that Goldman Sachs carried out securitisation and marketing activities with subprime mortgages, and at the same time concealing the high risk of these products from their customers.  It was from that report that Senator Levin called upon the authorities to open an investigation against Goldman Sachs.  Not only did the corrupt bank come out of the proceedings unscathed, the SEC concluded that Goldman Sachs did not engaged in any illegal activities by selling these sub standard mortgage-backed securities to their customers.  As always these jackals have the politicians, heads of Governments, judges and anyone else left to corrupt by their balls.   In 2007, these thirsty greedy hyenas made more than 5 billion dollars in operations that contributed to the current disaster.  These crows were aware of the danger of the toxic product that they sold to the unsuspecting public.  Now they have returned to profit via speculation in the midst of thge current sovereign debt crisis in southern Europe.  Above all this, Goldman Sachs has only paid a fine of $500 million for their looting which in a nutshell represents peanuts for them.  There really is a need for a guillotine in Time Square for these criminals.  Yes, that would be a good Reality Show, nothing like the mediocre and boring programs like Ellen or American Idol.
