LIBYA – Camel Bones and the Mass Media

¡Qué mala suerte, no! ¡Increíble, no!
Fulfilling once again their praiseworthy work to manipulate to the masses, the many radio and television stations worldwide have notified us of the horrifying news that had been communicated through the National Council of Transition, <CNT> in Libya, of the macabre discovery of a massive grave, with the remains of more than 1,700 executed prisoners on the 28th of July of 1996, in the sinister prison of Abu Salim in the city of Tripoli.  As suspected, the news spread like wildfire, with more than a couple of the Chiefs of States of the civilized European nations salivating, when they start thinking of the proof that has come to surface against Caligula Gaddafi.  But the reality often has an ironic way of setting things straight.
After the initial moments of consternation, it was then necessary to confirm the authenticity of the stunning news.  Journalists from Le Figaro and Liberation were the first in dismantling the colossal lie of the CNT.  The journalist Jean Louis Touzet de Liberation related the following, “When we arrived at the indicated place, it was nothing more than uncultivated land, trampled upon by the children, where the only bones visible were not of the human size, but compatible with the skeletons of a dromedary.”  As a result the journalist has deplored the lack of forensic investigation, which could have affirmed the truth especially for the desperate family and relatives of the prisoners, the fact that the femur could only pertain to a mammal of 500 kilos.  The relatives of the presumed victims told the journalist that they had heard on the radio (controlled by the CNT), that they had found human remain.  But the truth is that there were only bones of animals, camels, and cows.  Some of the women told the journalists that similar methods had been employed in the past to deceive them.  In addition, Touzet described the pathetic images of men crying and raising up the bones that were thought to belong to humans which in fact were of dromedaries.   What bad luck, no!  When finally the proof against Caligula Gaddafi began to surface, as the perfect excuse to justify the true crimes against the Libyan people, they had to find that the bones belong to camels, exposing the whole farce as nothing more than lies.  Another time, maybe.  All we were hoping to see were the classical images of a skull with an inlaid bullet, just like those in the graves of.  PS, even CNN had to admit that this was a fraud.   Incredible, no!  And as the saying goes, lies run on short legs.
